The courtyard of the historic Palazzo Clerici is transformed into both a physical and metaphorical immersion by designer Christian Grande, who renews his relationship with the Cranchi family. The installation celebrates the balance between innovation and tradition, that has guided the shipyard's history since 1870.

Story
The immersion
An interpretation of design and yachting that transcends temporal boundaries and redefines our perception of time—an immersive experience where beauty, innovation, and tradition converge. The installation overturns perspectives and transforms the perception of space: the hull, suspended between sky and earth, represents a crystallized moment, a point of balance where time appears to stand still. The blue drapes evoke the sea’s water, suggesting its fluidity; the LED strip, on the other hand, acts as an anchor—an energy generated by the boat that links it to the land, a connection: from the abstract to the tangible. The installation aims to celebrate the power of dreams — while remaining deeply grounded in substance and solidity.
La profondità
The immersion continues through the areas adjacent to the palace’s atrium. After a journey that winds through the history of the Cranchi family and glimpses of a future yet to be written, the visitor reaches the heart of the installation. The Sala delle Colonne becomes the stage for a video installation that invites guests to explore Immersio Temporis through the eyes and voice of Christian Grande. The designer reveals his sources of inspiration, the design phases, and the development of the work—his bond with the sea and his vision of design and yachting—offering an immersive and contemplative experience that unveils the deeper soul of the installation. Suspended in this timeless space shine the models of Cranchi Yachts that have marked the brand’s history.
